The Veta-platform is designed individuals focused on acquiring the non-formal professional knowledge in various priority agricultural fields.
At this stage the professional program –”Agricultural Plants Integrated Protection” – is presented on the platform. The mentioned program is an analogue of the vocational-learning program of the Agricultural Plants Integrated Protection currently implemented in the LEPL Vocational College "Iberia". Hence, the lectures - text and video files presented on the platform are created according to the modules of the mentioned vocational program.
Based on the above, the platform, users will be able to study the field of the Agricultural Plants Integrated Protection at a professional level, obtain a certificate and, if desired, gain official recognition of the acquired knowledge in a professional college of the relevant profile.
In order to apply the learning course the following procedures are required to be performed:
- Registration on the Veta-platform;
- Reading-listening of the lectures placed on the platform;
- Pass the test;
Registration procedures. In order to register on the platform please, follow the given link. During the registration process, it is necessary to provide correct and complete information in each field of the registration form.
Reading-listening of the lectures. After registration a personal profile and the access to the lectures are created for the Veta-Platform user.
The lectures on the platform are appropriately numbered and a specific minimum time is designed for listening to each lecture. Only after this time is the users are allowed to move on to the next lecture. Therefore, in order to access each subsequent lecture, the users need to listen-read the entire previous lecture.
Testing process. Once all the lectures are read-listened the platform provides the access to the test for the user. The test-questions are created according to the materials of the lectures.
Successful completion of the test requires passing the minimum 70% competency threshold. Hence, to get the certificate, the user needs to answer 70% or more of the questions in the test correctly.
In case of exceeding the minimum competency threshold, the user will automatically receive an electronic certificate via-email specified by him/her during the registration on the platform.
The certificate will contain the user name, surname, personal number and the result of testing (numbers of received points).
In case the failing to pass the minimum competency threshold of 70%, the user will be allowed to retest only after reading-listening of the lectures presented on the platform again.
After completing the training course and obtaining a certificate, if desired, the users of the platform can gain official recognition of the acquired knowledge in a professional college of the relevant profile. At this stage, formal recognition of the knowledge gained on the platform can be done at the project beneficiary college (LEPL College "Iberia") or another, vocational school of the relevant profile, where Agricultural Plants Integrated Protection professional programs are accredited.
